Approach
Working with a mental health therapist is an effective way to discuss life's challenges and concerns and gain new skills to improve the situation and acquire better outcomes. I feel honored when someone chooses to engage in that process with me, and I strive to create a non-judgmental and productive therapeutic relationship with you.

My goal is to obtain a shared understanding of the problems and then, by working together, implement evidence-based techniques that offer real and long-lasting change.

I practice Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as a Certified DBT Clinician through the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification. I also practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Both are remarkably effective modalities that encourage short-term, time-limited treatment and utilize skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation.

I primarily work with adults, parents, adolescents ages 13 and older, and LGBTQ individuals and non-binary/gender non-conforming people. I integrate humor, compassion, and understanding into each session and look forward to working with you!
